Collab Musume
This week we're in a cold Kyoto. Why? To look at the views.
Also, while we're here, it's also conveniently home to Nintendo!

Into Nintendo and a room set up with a Wii. Waiting on the screen is Risa's Mii. You know, that one that was made back in June sometime for the Wii Boxing.

This is Collab Musume, so what's the collaboration with this I (probably don't) hear you ask?
Well, it's a collaboration between Nintendo, Haromoni and us viewers! The girls are going to create their own Miis to share with viewers.

The Cabbage Minister loves Wii Tennis, although unfortunately doesn't have his own Mii, but the girls now do. They make their own Miis ready for today's challenge.

What's the challenge? It's Wii Fit.
Wii Fit is the brand new Wii 'game' with a balance board. As the advert shows us, you can do stuff like yoga, exercises and balance-involving games.

First up it's a balance test to determine the girls' Balance Ages. The best Balance Age you can get is 20. To get this you will need a good centre of gravity and be able to put even weight on both sides of your body.

The girls score;
Ai: 31
Risa: 27
Eri: 24
Sayu: 37
Reina: 20
These training Balance Ages determine who'll be competing against who.
Ai and Sayu, being the two worst, will go head-to-head. Reina will then battle whoever wins. Risa and Eri, being the two middle scoring, will do battle. THEN, the winners of the Reina vs Ai/Sayu and Risa vs Eri battles will face-off to be crowned the ultimate balance champion.
The prizes for the winner? Some gourmet Kyoto food of course!

First it's Ai vs Sayu in the Heading Game.
You have to lean to the side the ball is coming at you to head it. The more you head the more points you get. Also flying at you occasionally are shoes, and some other stuff, so you have to avoid these. Get hit on the head by anything other than a ball and you'll get minus points.
The winner is: Ai

Next up it's Risa vs Eri in the Hula-Hooping Game.
Here you have to stand on the balance board and, well, hula-hoop! Virtually.
Every now and then you'll get more hoops thrown at you, which you'll have to catch by leaning in the direction they're coming and stretching your arms out. Just like a bit of the Mikan dance. Just like a bit of the Mikan dance. Just like a bit of the Mikan dance. Just like a bit of the Mikan dance. It's Mikan mixed with Morning Curry.
The winner is: Risa

Coming up - Ball Rolling, Tightrope Walking and Snowboarding... Next week!!

You, yes you, can get all their Miis, plus Akachin's, and now Koharu's, Aika's, Jun's and Lin's, on your Wii. Just go to the Mii Contest Channel and you can type in the Mii numbers.
For full instructions and all the Mii codes see the official Haromoni@ x Wii page.

Kirarin Revolution and Morning Musume
So to recap, in case you've somehow missed this for the past month or two.
The girls were set a task to create a new character for the cartoon Kirarin Revolution. The character had to be a cat, who would be the enemy of "super cat" Naa-san. Sayu's cat was chosen as the winner. Viewers sent in names for the new cat. From the 1000+ entries the chosen name was Guro-san. So, we had the cat and he had a name, but he didn't have a voice. The girls took part in a random competition to see who would voice Guro. Aika won. Remember? Phew.

This week we're at the Kirarin recording studios for Aika to record her lines. But first, the reveal! For the first time we see the new Guro-san, as he'll appear in the cartoon.

Koharu and the other voice-actors are inside recording their lines for the episode. Aika's really nervous but it's time for her go.
She gets given the script by the director. What does she have to say? "Guro" and "Guro<3" and "Guroooo", and.. That's basically it!!

When recording the lines they don't actually have the finished cartoon to watch. Instead basic sketches are used.

After several tries Aika finally gets her "Guro"s to sound right. Next week we'll finally get to see the finished article.

Castle Performance
Up today it's Ongaku Gatas with their second single "Yattarouze!".

Next week: The Wii Fit balance battle final, Kirarin and MoMusu conclusion, AND Little Child King!

This week's credits music is Berryz Koubou's new single: "Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi".
